Vendor Help Guide & Policy
Everything you need to know about using VendorHub to track and respond to your approval requests.
Which specification applies to your submission?
The SP File Compliance Form (updated P.I.) is the single authoritative reference for all submissions. It must be updated before any documents are issued to Larson Electronics. Both your documents and the reviewer's evaluation are based on that form — if you have any questions about which specification applies, refer to the current SP File Compliance Form for your product.
VendorHub is Larson Electronics' portal for managing product approval submissions. When Larson Electronics initiates an approval request for your products, you will receive an email invitation to access the portal.
Once logged in, your My Projects dashboard shows all your active and past approval requests. Click any request to see its full details, reviewer feedback, and documents.
All vendors are required to:
- Maintain an active VendorHub account with current company and contact information.
- Submit all required documents, revisions, responses, and supporting files through your authorized VendorHub account.
- Use the Comments section to provide explanations, or additional information related to your file.
- Monitor VendorHub regularly for reviewer feedback, notifications, and status updates.
- Ensure all submitted documents are complete, accurate, and compliant with Larson Electronics' requirements.
- Vendors are responsible for downloading approved drawings, nameplates, and test reports from VendorHub for their records.
Important: Notify Larson Electronics immediately of any changes to your company's information, contact details, or other relevant records.
VendorHub is the only official platform for document approvals.
Communications outside VendorHub — including email, phone calls, Teams, WhatsApp, WeChat, or other messaging platforms — do not replace the official approval process.
Larson Electronics personnel, including VendorHub administrators, are not permitted to submit documents, provide revisions, feedback, or responses, or download approved files on behalf of vendors. This policy ensures direct and accurate communication between vendors and the approving team while preserving the integrity and accuracy of the approval process and its associated files.
Failure to comply with this policy may result in delays to document reviews, approvals, purchasing activities, production schedules, and shipment timelines.
Continued refusal to register for and use VendorHub as required will be considered noncompliance with Larson Electronics, LLC's vendor requirements and may result in the suspension or termination of the business relationship.
Larson Electronics and its vendors are expected to respond to VendorHub requests, comments, revision requests, and other approval-related communications within the following timeframes:
- Standard Issues: Respond within 24–48 hours.
- Complex Issues: Respond within 48–72 hours when additional review, coordination, or document revisions are required.
Both parties are responsible for responding promptly to help prevent delays in the review, approval, purchasing, production, and shipment processes. If additional time is required, the responsible party should communicate the reason and provide an estimated response date through VendorHub.
